PHOTOGENIC MONSOON, Seoul in Film.

English subtitles available.

Hey everyone! It's Antoine, your trusted urban guide. Let me take you on a journey through my day in Seoul.

It started in Gangnam, a neighborhood known for its urban chic with its sparkling skyscrapers, luxury boutiques, and trendy cafes. Even though the place is full of color and life, I wasn't really feeling inspired today. Despite the gloomy sky, I had my trusty Canon QL17 G3 and a Kodak Portra 800 film roll, ready to capture every unique moment.

However, I decided to change the scenery and head to a local market in a different neighborhood next to Sidang Station. And that's where the magic happened!

My Canon QL17 G3 is truly a wonder. Sturdy, handy, with a bright 1.7 aperture, it allows me to capture superb shots even in low light. The Kodak Portra 800 film, known for its beautiful colors and ability to produce vibrant images even under a cloudy sky, was the perfect complement.

And when the camera sets automatically an aperture of 1.7, it’s not always easy to get the focus done quickly!

At the market, it felt like I was plunged into a labyrinth of fascinating details. Each alleyway was teeming with life, offering unique textures, shapes, and hues, all illuminated by that bright opening cutting through the market. It was like a visual symphony, each element playing its part to create a perfect image.

Remember this: the streets are living canvases, each nook and cranny teeming with details to capture. Don't rush, take the time to observe, to feel, and to immerse yourself in the atmosphere. You'd be surprised at what you might discover.

Nikon Z6 shot with Canon QL17GIII.

To end this beautiful day, I couldn't resist pulling out my Nikon Z6. Ah, what a joy to finish a day of photography with this gem! It managed to capture the essence of this day, adding a perfect final touch to my adventures.

And that's it, the end of this wonderful day in Seoul. But this is only the beginning, so stay tuned for more of my photographic adventures. Catch you soon, it's Antoine!
